This year, we’ve reached a huge milestone. We’ve mapped more than 1.5 billion buildings, greatly expanding our data count, and we’re very grateful to everyone who has helped us reach this breakthrough.

However, while this is an amazing feat, we noticed that every data purchase so far has been a one-time download.

So, we made bold changes and included all updates for one year to our releases. We’re always working on improving our data and maps to ensure that you can constantly access reliable data that has everything you need and more. Our updates enable you to experience not only enhanced performance but also functionality and usability. We’re also beefing up security, so you can use our global data sets with peace of mind.

Some of our latest releases this year include updates from global OpenStreetMap data and Microsoft US and the importation of millions of buildings from building data databases, such as Microsoft Kenya, Microsoft South America, and Japan PLATEAU data.

Here’s the best bit — prices will stay the same, so you can get all the data you need without breaking the bank.

In the future, we’re hoping to implement automated access and start rolling out continuous monthly subscriptions. We want to make clean, comprehensive data sets more accessible so we’re working on making these subscriptions more affordable and longer-running, so you can continue obtaining more of our release updates.

Again, we thank you for making this remarkable achievement possible. We’re always striving to expand our data sets without compromising their quality and reliability. Stay tuned for more updates to see what we’re up to!

3dbuildings transitioned into a new company, ONEGEO GmbH. Everything that you’ve come to know and love about 3dbuildings will stay the same, from our data to our service.
